1. i’m left handed.  when i was about 5 or 6, i was in chinese school and just out of the blue, my teacher yelled at me and told me “YOU ARE NOT LEFT HANDED.  YOU ARE RIGHT HANDED NOW!” and she forced me to write with my right hand for the rest of the class.  luckily by the next class, she had forgotten about all of this.

2. i used to constantly daydream about all these “farfetched” ideas, such as starting a street fashion blog, starting my own online magazine, approaching complete strangers and asking them if i could do a photoshoot with them sometime, planning trips with friends etc.  and now they’re all becoming a reality.  last year, i started freckled with one of my best friends, i started street-etiquette with maria and i’m going to be in europe for a month this summer with one of my good friends.  i honestly haven’t been happier.

3. the way i dress could be described as somewhere in between the likes of an elderly parisian woman and an english schoolboy.

4. i’m adopted and sometimes, i wonder about my biological parents and what kind of physical resemblances and personality-related commonalities would or would have existed between us.  then i realize that i’ll never know and it kind of saddens me in a way.

5. my canadian name is actually “stephanie” but nobody ever calls me that.

6. i eat way too much hummus, it’s kind of ridiculous.

7. i am obsessed with pugs and have wanted one for so long.

8. i’m far too sentimental for my own good.

9. my favourite song of all time would probably be jeff buckley’s rendition of “hallelujah.”  there’s just something so haunting about it.

10. one of my biggest pet peeves is when people walk way too slow.  that being said, all of my friends tell me that i “walk like a ninja.”
